About Volunteering
Volunteers are the lifeblood of Crew and we simply could not do the work we do without them. As a peer education project we are committed to young people and giving them the training and support they need to engage with members of their own communities, providing them with accurate information on drugs and sexual health.
There are a huge range of activities volunteers can get involved in from work in the information shop to delivering training and working at clubs and festivals. With this diversity of activities volunteers can really tailor make their experience at Crew to suit their interests and their goals.
Each year volunteers contribute over 10,000 hours of time to work with the project...
Though our volunteers contribute a lot to Crew, volunteering is by no means a one-sided arrangement. We treat our volunteers well, providing them with in-depth training and support aimed at their continued development.
Volunteering at Crew also means tapping into a vibrant social scene. New friendships are formed with every volunteer intake and we aim to put on one volunteer social event every month to reward our volunteers for the hard work they've put in.
